The warm spring breeze of March brings forth the blossoming brilliance of women. To celebrate the 116th International Women's Day, China Coal Group meticulously planned and launched a series of themed activities titled ‘Honoring Women's Strength, Empowering Workplace Growth’ on March 7. Through mental health lectures and heartwarming benefit distributions, the event paid profound tribute and festive greetings to all female employees, addressing both their ‘spiritual nourishment” and “material care.’
At 9:45 AM, the Women's Mental Health Seminar commenced at the Group Conference Center. This event was jointly organized by the Women's Federation of Jiezhuang Subdistrict in the High-Tech Zone, Rencheng District Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Lianxinqiao Social Organization Service Center, and China Coal Group, with the Women's Federation of China Coal Group and Lianxinqiao Women's Federation serving as co-organizers. Group Women's Federation leaders Wang Man, Yang Qingqing, and Gao Yuan attended the event. Special guests included Gou Shoubing, Chairwoman of the Women's Federation of Jiezhuang Subdistrict, High-Tech Zone; Qiao Chengxin, Chairperson of the Lianxinqiao Social Organization Service Center; and mental health expert Liu Xuan. They joined over a hundred female employees for this gathering of the mind.
The event was chaired by Wang Man, Director of the Women's Federation. She began by introducing the leaders and distinguished guests in attendance and extended a warm welcome to everyone present.
Chairman Gou Shoubing then delivered an address. He highly commended the pivotal role played by female employees of China Coal in the company's development, encouraging everyone to continue writing new chapters of women's glory in their respective positions.
As the centerpiece of this event, Liu Xuan, a nationally certified Level 2 psychological counselor, delivered a special lecture titled ‘Emotional Management and Stress Coping for Working Women.’ With over three decades of expertise in mental health, Ms. Liu holds multiple professional roles including committee member of the Shandong Psychological Counselors Association and trainer for Shandong Youth Health Education. During the lecture, she precisely addressed practical challenges such as workplace stress, anxiety, and sleep disturbances. Through vivid case analyses and practical skill-sharing, she guided participants in scientifically managing emotions to achieve mental and physical liberation. The session featured frequent interactions and a lively atmosphere, where female employees gained valuable insights into self-regulation in a relaxed environment.
Following the lecture, Qiaochenxin, the Chairwoman of Psychology, delivered the concluding remarks. She encouraged women to focus on inner growth, to navigate the dual roles of career and family with grace, and to radiate their unique feminine charm.
That afternoon, the festive spirit continued to spread throughout the Group. To express gratitude for the hard work of all female employees, the Group carefully prepared holiday gifts—including laundry detergent, facial wipes, and tissues—and distributed them personally to every female employee working on the front lines. Each thoughtful gift carried the Group’s deep respect and care for these “pillars of the workforce,” not only bringing festive joy to everyone but also tangibly strengthening the team’s cohesion and sense of unity.
This series of International Women’s Day events serves as a vivid illustration of China Coal Group’s “people-oriented” corporate culture. Moving forward, the Group will continue to strengthen and refine its efforts to support female employees, inspiring women across the organization to channel their resilience and determination into the company’s high-quality development with renewed enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
