When the fixed wedge is fixed on the coal body or clay rock, the driving depth of the fixed wedge shall be ≮ 0.8m, and that of other rock strata shall be ≮ 0.6m. Other reinforcement measures shall be adopted for the especially soft rock strata.
The rock mucking loader must be operated by operating lever.
Stable piles must be set on both sides of the tunnel mucking machine to prevent the body from sliding down. The stable piles are made of round steel with diameter of 38mm and inserted into the bedrock with a depth of ≮ 0.8m. The insertion direction is the same as the inclination of the roadway and forms an angle of 70 ~ 800 with the floor. The connection between the stabilizing pile and the tunnel mucking machine shall be made by steel wire rope with diameter not less than 15.5mm. The connection between the steel wire rope and the stabilizing pile and the scraper bucket machine shall be made by more than two pairs of rope clamps. The connection must be reliable.
