What Are The Reasons Why Loaders Often Punch Cylinder Gaskets?

Cylinder gasket burned by high temperature gas in the cylinder is called "punching gasket", also known as "burning gasket". The abnormal phenomena such as water tank "bubbling", oil pan water inflow, oil emulsification, exhaust pipe drainage (white smoke) usually appear after the cylinder washer of mucking loader. The main causes of cylinder washer are as follows:

(1) Cylinder Head Deformation

Due to the long-term alternation of high temperature and high pressure gases, the cylinder head will be deformed, and improper disassembly (not disassembly in sequence) will also produce deformation. After the cylinder head is deformed, the upward part of the cylinder head does not press the cylinder gasket tightly, resulting in the leakage of high temperature gas and the burning of the cylinder gasket.

(2) The height of cylinder liner bump is different, which causes the seal of individual cylinders to be lax.

In order to make the cylinder liner and the cylinder gasket press on the cylinder block and maintain good sealing performance, it is generally required that the protrusion plane of the cylinder liner end face be higher than a certain size of the cylinder block (generally 0.05-0.12 mm), and that the protrusion of the cylinder liner of the same diesel loader (or two cylinders under the same cylinder head) be different (generally 0.05 mm).

If it exceeds the prescribed value, it may cause insufficient sealing pressure, which will cause high pressure and high temperature gas to rush out and damage the cylinder gasket.

(3) Insufficient loosening or tightening moment of cylinder head bolts

When the mucking loader leaves the factory, the manufacturer's instructions for use and maintenance have specific requirements for the torque of the cylinder head fastening bolts. The cylinder head should be tightened strictly in accordance with the prescribed time and method during maintenance.

(4)The assembly method of cylinder gasket is incorrect or the quality of cylinder gasket is poor.

(5)Rock Loader is not working well and overheating causes cylinder washer.
